Seether Bring 'Poison The Parish' Tour Down The East Coast This May

South African rockers Seether are hitting the East Coast this May in support of their latest album 'Poison The Parish'. Kicking off at Sydney's Metro Theatre, the band will head their way to The Forum in Melbourne before blowing the roof off of Brisbane's Eatons Hill Hotel for the final show.

‘Poison The Parish’ was released last year as the band’s seventh studio album. It spawned songs like ‘Let You Down’, ‘Nothing Left’, ‘Stoke The Fire’ and ‘Against The Wall’ to name a few. Apart from these new songs, the trio of Shaun Morgan, Dale Stewart and John Humphrey will also be performing some of Seether’s chart-topping classics like ‘Remedy’, ‘Country Song’, ‘Fake It’, ‘Fine Again’, ‘Let You Down’ and ‘Words as Weapons’.

“Uplifting and celebratory…hands raised, mosh pits opened, and songs sung until voices ran raw, the occasion drew smiles from both band and fans alike. Masterful songwriting gelled with a sound that can either break your bones, or mend the heart, all married to a live performance that reaches right down inside whether you’re front row, in the shadows, or the rafters above. Seether prove, once again, why they are one of the most important hard rock bands out there today.” - Metal Wani

Formed in 1999 under their original name Saron Gas, Seether entered the rock music scene with a passion and ferocious musicality reminiscent of legendary rock bands Nirvana and Alice in Chains. Almost 20 years later, they still exhibit the same angst and energy as could be seen in their live performances.
