Rüfüs - You Were Right Tour

Sydney trio Rüfüs have today announced a world You Were Right tour, set to hit the road for some huge dates across Australia and North America later this year. The first leg kicks off in Brisbane on October 16 and rolls around to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong, Canberra and Sydney. November will see the boys enter Du Sol mode, as they hit Vancouver, LA, San Francisco, and New York over two glorious weeks.

Just in case that wasn’t enough excitement for you, Rüfüs have just dropped the official video for You Were Right and it’s a masterpiece that takes the viewer on a blissful, weightless journey. “We worked with long time collaborator Katzki, who also happens to be my brother and has done every one of our videos,” explains keys player Jon George. “The video is about a feeling. It’s the anticipation of a single moment and waiting for that moment of euphoria.”

Pumped to hit the road, Jon humbly explains, “We started the band just wanting to be able to play shows to our friends at parties, so to now be able to announce a tour that takes us all around Australia and to the other side of the Pacific to some of the most amazing cities in North America is amazing. We’ve been working so hard trying to put together an album of songs that we would want to hear, we’re very close to finished with the album and looking forward to get out there on a big stage playing these new songs to people for the first time. The reaction to You Were Right has been great, we’re excited to share the rest of the record with people.”
