Bernard Fanning - Civil Dusk National Tour

In celebration of the release of his third studio LP, ‘Civil Dusk’, singer-songwriter Bernard Fanning will be embarking on a national tour this October through November. The tour will see him take the stage at some of the most stunning theatre spaces in Australia.

Bernard will showcase new materials from the album alongside some old favourites from his 25-year deep archive when he performs in Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide, Geraldton, Perth, Melbourne, Cairns, Darwin and Brisbane.

Bernard was the former frontman of the alternative-rock band Powderfinger. With his solo career now tipping the 10-year mark, he has firmly established a reputation as one of Australia’s finest songwriters and lyricists.

Meanwhile, J Award nominee Dustin Tebbutt will join Bernard by support. Originally from Armidale, Dustin has been making waves since the release of his debut EP, ‘The Breach EP’ in 2013. Also joining the ride as support act will be AMP and Melbourne Music Prize nominee, Ainslie Wills, who is declared as Australia’s version of Tina Turner, thanks to her soul soaked power crooning!She is set to open each show with a heaving dose of progressive pop.

Civil Dusk is the first part of a series of two albums. The second instalment Brutal Dawn will follow in early 2017.
