Urthboy - Second Heartbeat Australian Tour

Fresh from the release of his 5th and biggest Solo Album to date and snatching a spot on the ARIA chart, brace yourselves ready as Urthboy will be hitting the road with his rambunctious musicality.

Urthboy's Second Heartbeat Australian Tour will kick off in Melbourne with two consecutive performances, then to Hobart, Brisbane, Canberra, Katoomba, then will stop by Sydney for another two nights of performances, Newcastle, Adelaide before going to Perth and North Fremantle. The final show will be held in Sunshine Coast.

We’re only three months in but it already seems to be a massive year for Urthboy. The Past Beats Inside Me Like A Second Heartbeat may be his most successful release to date, snapping up triple j Feature Album and garnering rave reviews. His sold out album preview shows in Sydney and Melbourne are ominous of an even more successful tour.

It will be a great time to celebrate loudly with a new band in town plus many special guests. His moving first single ‘Long Loud Hours’ exploded in the airwaves in October last year creating a huge impact on the ears of many, landing No. 33 in the triple j Hottest 100 after 3 years of quiet since his last release. Bertie Blackman’s vocal leverages storytelling to a whole new level, above the brooding pulse of the Hermitude produced beat. But this was only the beginning.

Urthboy will be joined in support by rising star L-Fresh The Lion, the newest addition to the Elefant Traks family. With the recent release of his monstrous single ‘1 in 100,000’ and a huge sophomore album set to drop in May, L-Fresh The Lion's highly-charged and arresting live show is unmissable. Kicking off each show will be the up-and-coming Okenyo, who dropped listeners' jaws with her playful and charismatic vocals on Urthboy’s single, ‘Second Heartbeat’.
