For almost 20 years, The Basement Discs has been offering Australian music lovers an extensive selection of the very latest CD releases from all corners of the globe, along with sourcing an amazing range of back catalogue titles and re-issues including rare and unique recordings, and of course, more recently stocking premium NEW VINYL. The Basement Discs crew love sharing their passion, love and knowledge of most genres of music, and we consistently aim to stock the finest and most interesting range possible.

Our initial shopping catalogue features our highly recommended range of 2012's Best, along with newies so far for 2013 - with reviews attached - and includes rock, funk, soul, blues, jazz and world music on both CD, DVD & vinyl. With weekly shipments locally, from the U.S., the U.K & Europe, the stock is constantly moving and changing & we will be endeavouring to keep the site as up-to-date as we possibly can, so please keep re-visiting.

We have well over 15,000 titles in stock at any one time, so if there is something you cannot find on the website, please email or call us & we will do our best to track down the item/s you are seeking, if not already in stock.

Another major part of what we do is presenting regular lunchtime live performances - from both local and overseas artists. A calendar of up-coming events is also a feature of this new website.
