Map showing Camelot Garden

In June 1996 our family moved to this property with its established home but no garden. In September 1996 we made alterations to the front of the house and then levelled the existing front landscape. In June 1997 we planted out rose bushes, the weeping rose (which is a 'Dorothy Perkins'), the English Box and Privet enclosure, the Silver Birch Tree, the Golden Pencil Pine and the Prunus Tree. We planted the front lawn (which was replaced in March 2010 for artificial) and we had paths paved. Dean designed and built the gazebo to complete the front landscaping. In the back yard we planted a lawn, I had a neat little area of garden plots and in them I planted the palm trees on the Northern fence, the Native Fangipani Tree next to the house, on the Western fence line the two Golden Pines, the Silver Birch, the Mary McKillop 'Bottle Brush Tree' and the New Zealand Christmas Tree which are all quite large now. Dean and I cemented curved border lawn edges along the garden plots which at the time we were so proud of achieving.
