Gravity Dance

Since opening the doors in 2007, Gravity Dance has successfully established a reputation of delivering dance education of the highest quality. Employing only the most sought after choreographers and industry professionals, Gravity Dance maintains an original promise to deliver extraordinary pathways to a successful career in dance.

In 2010 Gravity Dance took their studio to the next level and became a Registered Training Organization delivering Nationally Recognized Certificate IV in Commercial Dance to students from all across Australia. In 2012 Certificate II and III was added to their scope creating even smoother transition for students wanting to strengthen their dance education.

In late 2013 Gravity Dance moved from their city location to a new facility and performance space with 2 very large studios. These studios were designed by dancers for dancers complete with specially built sprung flooring, mirrors, surround sound, Ballet Barres and one studio that converts into two studios or a theatre when needed. This performance space has since been used for professional showings of dance works in development and has housed works for the Gravity Dance students' assessments.

Gravity Dance is home to many independent artists who use the space to create works that tour the world. Hosting many artists touring Australia from overseas ensures that their students have a unique opportunity to take workshops, ask questions and develop lasting mentoring relationships with these artists.
