Ladro Greville

In recent years, pizza lovers south of the Yarra were able to breathe a sigh of relief, with the news that well-loved Fitzroy pizza restaurant would be spawning a Greville Street location. The Prahran Ladro is significantly larger, but is still the same eternally popular Ladro.

The interior of Ladro Greville Street (designed by the owners) is as well-designed, stylish and sophisticated as one would imagine from Ladro, all marble table tops and exposed bricks. The pizzas too, are as you’d expect; delicious, mixing old classics with inventive combinations of flavours.

An extension of Ladro’s Italian heritage, both the north and south side locations relish the opportunity to throw a party, or hold an event. Both locations offer a range of function packages, and are flexible with layout and menus. Ladro’s a good pick for group dinners, or event birthdays, or corporate functions. As previously mentioned, the Prahran Ladro is larger, and thus is able to accommodate larger functions.

The south-side incarnation of Ladro is found on Greville Street, just off Chapel. Refreshingly, that means that pizzas are enjoyed a nice distance from the craziness of the Chapel Street nightlife.
