Located in the heart of North Adelaide in the historic Institute Building, the North Adelaide Community Centre and Library caters to a wide range of local residents and visitors. From Meditation and Dance to Language Conversation and Computer Training, the Community Centre offers a vibrant program of regular activities, and new participants are always welcome.
The Centre is a venue for a range of events including author talks, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Cup and Christmas gatherings. With a small kitchen, stage area and seating for up to 120, spaces are also available for private hire. As a member of the SA One Card Network, the Library offers access to over 3 million items. As well as traditional borrowing services, the Library has free public internet and wifi access, daily newspapers, ebooks, local history hub and free bicycle hire through the City Bikes program.
