North Star Sporting Club

The North Star Sporting Club Ltd was incorporated on 14th December 1975. At the date of incorporation the club took over the assets and assumed the liabilities of the Bushman's carnival, Pony Club, Pistol Club, Golf Club and Cricket Club. Over the years the list of clubs has grown, although some clubs have folded or moved elsewhere, however most are doing well.

The facilities of the Club include, the land and buildings on which the Clubhouse, Amenities Block, Tennis Courts, Ring and yards, Stables and Golf Coarse are situated. The Club also owns a Managers Residence in North Star and holds a lease over Crown Land on which the No.2 Polo Field is adjoining the Sporting Club.

There are many functions held at the Sporting Club and its grounds that are run entirely on a voluntary basis.

The 2009 Calendar includes: Tennis, Cutting, Pony Camp, Riding Days, Anzac Day, Trail Ride, Polo, Camp Draft, Golf (Turkey Day).
