Working in tin mines, they were usually governed by chinese kapitans, with the most popular kapitan known as Yap Ah Loy. Since then, Petaling Street has developed into Malaysia's Chinatown and is now a renowned and popular tourist destination in KL. It is now a popular place for trading and also destination for local favourities.
Its aim is to bring local favourities from hawker stalls, mamaks and restaurants from all over the streets of Malaysia to Australia and it strives to keep and maintain the authenticity of their taste and quality for your enjoyment.
