The Barracks Gallery & Studios

12 working creative studios - 2 galleries - 1 location. Colour City Creatives (CCC) are based at the Barracks, a special triangle of land between the two rail lines of Orange. Once the home of rail workers this building is a hub of creativity for 54 artists from Orange and surrounds.
The choice of the word Creatives as opposed to Artists was a conscious reflection of the modern landscape of Art today. We embrace all expressions of creativity and our membership includes sculptors, poets, painters, video artist, photographers and weavers.

We open on all 3 of the Orange Festivals: Banjo Paterson, FOOD week and Wine Festival. During the remainder of the year, the studios can be visited by making an appointment with one of the artists. Please pick up a brochure from Orange Visitors Centre or the Orange Regional Gallery. The creators are happy to show you their studios if they are available and not working on their next big project or exhibition!
