The Tuxedo Cat

Tuxedo Cat is one of the largest independently operated Arts Venues in Australia.

Tuxedo Cat builds, programs and operates hub spaces for the Adelaide Fringe Festival, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and many more festivals in Adelaide and Melbourne.

Tuxedo Cat programs and produces over 1000 shows per year during these festivals and we also host and facilitate events, corporate events, parties, product launches, secret gigs, and one off special shows. Pretty much anything and everything has happened at Tuxedo Cat. We have a strong focus on programming, on supporting our artists and on meaningful urban renewal.

If you think it can not be done, then you have not asked us!

To facilitate all this, we inhabit old buildings, or buildings awaiting development and transform them into Performance Spaces, Theaters, Art Galleries and Music venues - anything you can imagine. We are currently located in Adelaide and Melbourne.
