threeOclock Gallery

threeOclock is a visual arts program that is passionate about the semi-public spaces and socially engaged art. It likes to have fun and stage challenging and interesting (and sometimes very animated) conversations through art.

It believes that without dialogue there is no impact and without impact there is no solution, so it works with emerging and established Australian artists to explore critical social and environmental issues.

Its exhibitions are project-based and its program features installation work, sculpture, film, photography and public conversation series.

You can find it currently in a pop up gallery space on the upper level of Southgate on Melbourne's Southbank – sneaking out into its public spaces, with film and performance-based works. Its artists explore different exhibition themes and their answers are framed around a central focus that interrogates topics such as ‘Oceans’ ‘Diversity’ ‘Women’ and ‘Proximity’.

At Southgate it hosts to four fabulous emerging artists. Residing in the gallery they are busy creating and featuring works with a number of our exhibitions.
