After 30 years making the world laugh, the most successful UK comedy duo since ‘Morecambe and Wise’ has decided to say farewell. The madcap comedic duo Hale & Pace return to Australia to say farewell for one last time touring Australia from 31 August to 8 October visiting the Gold Coast, Sydney, Frankston, Newcastle, Wollongong, Adelaide, Geelong, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.

After a recent showing of their outrageous TV series on Foxtel’s Comedy Channel, Hale and Pace thought it would be great to say farewell in person and thank every one for their loyalty over the many tours the pair have made to Australia.

When asked about their impending last visit to Australia Hale said: “The chance to visit your golden shores for one last time is what is termed a ‘no brainer’. Oz is a very special place for me.” Norman chimed in with “This will be the 10th time we’ve toured there and it’s been a blast every time from 1989 to the present day. Of course we’ll have loads of new material but you’ll see all the favourites, The Two Rons, Jed and Dave, Billy and Johnny and all the songs that tickle your fancy.”

Hale and Pace met at teacher-training college in Eltham, South-East London and learnt their craft at “The Tramshed” in Woolwich”. At the Edinburgh Festival they were chosen as Best of the Fringe, and went on to star in 3 series on BBC Radio 4. They have received several British Comedy Award nominations; a Bronze Award at the International Film and Television Festival in New York; Best of Category Award in the Comedy Section at the San Francisco International Film and Television Festival; they have been nominated three times for the Montreux Festival; won the Press Prize and the much coveted Golden Rose of Montreux; and appeared before Her Majesty The Queen at The Royal Variety Performance.

Between them, they have achieved hundreds of TV credits and in July this year the boys will appear for the first time ever on stage together in “Murder by Misadventure.”

For their final Australian tour the boys will be supported by Australia’s best known Ventriloquist Darren Carr.

Don’t miss this final taste of Hale and Pace.
