Arts Access Darwin, supported by Darwin Community Arts, is hosting the unique "Access All Areas Film Festival" Screening at the Chambers Crescent Theatre, Malak, on Sunday 25th November. The Film Festival is a collection of the top professionally made short films that have been touring with other film festivals, and include captions as well as audio descriptions for visually impaired. The Festival promotes and celebrates access to film for all Australians, with a showcase of new Australian films for people with a disability. This is a family friendly event We are also proud to partner with CemeNTstars, young people with a disability performance group, who will be participating with a much anticipated presentation entitled Superheroes! A sausage sizzle and non alcoholic drinks will be on sale. Screening with audio descriptions starts at 4.20pm to 5.40pm. CemeNTstars presentation 6.00pm. Second Screening starts at 6.30pm. This is a free event; however bookings are encouraged to ensure we have catered for people with all needs.
