For one night only, APT7 Up Late opens across both the Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) for visitors to experience 'The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art' (APT7) after dark with performances by Syrian dabke (Arabic folk-pop) sensation Omar Souleyman, DJ sets from Science Project, Tyrone Noonan and Walrii, plus a unique performance from Brisbane punks playing the music of an imaginary Indonesian band that influenced the Brisbane music scene of the 70s and 80s.

8.30pm The Family Butchers - special performance by Brian Cavanagh, Nigel Kimber, Ross McLennan, Robert Crawford, Tom Yallowley performing Brisbane punk classics and the music of fictional 1970s Indonesian band The Kuda, as imagined by Indonesian artist collective ruangrupa.
9.15pm Omar Souleyman (Syria)
