Members of the public, ARM members, friends and family are invited to attend a dinner following the 2012 National Republican Lecture.

The dinner is an opportunity to discuss the lecture and meet like-minded members and the newly elected National Committee members in a convivial environment.

Given current events the concept of the Australian Republic is back in the media. The lecture and the dinner are an opportunity to show your interest and help reset the agenda.

There will be an auction on the night, and raffle tickets will be on sale.

Please indicate any special dietary requirements when you book your dinner tickets.

The dinner will be preceded by the 2012 National Republican Lecture at Wesley Music Centre, 20-22 National Circuit, Forrest, ACT, at 5:30 for 6:00pm.

Associate Professor James Curran, University of Sydney, will present Republican Reset: The Lessons of History and a Way Ahead.

James will propose a revitalised republican conversation that seeks to harness a shared sense of community and place along with a new and more inclusive narrative of the nation

The National Republican Lecture is a public lecture – there’s no need to book - just turn up.

Pre-lecture drinks available at 5.30pm, with entertainment by the Daramalan Singers.
