Blackbreaks are Sydney’s newest and allegedly most humble ‘alt.rock supergroup’ feature members of MM9, iNsuRge, Vae Victis and the Rumjacks.

Blackbreaks are proud to be serving it up live at Venom Nightclub Saturday September the 1st to push the release of their self-titled EP now available from all good digital outlets (including their own website - link above).

Blackbreaks are pissed about Pussy Riot, Sydney losing all its live venues, the pathetic state of both major political parties in this country, and the fact that the new iPhone is taking so long to be released (except the bass player who has a Samsung). The only way to survive is to avoid your local Top 40 disco and defend the live rock, because live music is the true revolution!

You know you’ll want to sing along to all the Blackbreaks hits and memories about alienation, black presidents, radicals and conservatives, and high-falutin’ dinner parties. I know I want to, but I’m the publicity dude so I’m biased.

Blackbreaks will be ably joined by Graveyard Rockstars, Dirty Dezire and Dollarosa (QLD). All for only $15 - what a night!

Venom is at the Agincourt Hotel, 871 George Street, Sydney, just across from Central’s Railway Square.
