Celebrated Australian icon and Painter David Bromley’s solo debut in Newcastle! Open to the public.

This exhibition, which will be open to the public for four days only. It will officially be the first ever Newcastle Solo exhibition for David Bromley, featuring his latest touring collection titled The Story Road comprised of large Paintings on Canvas, works on Paper, Bronze sculpture, Pottery and his signature Quilts.

David has enjoyed substantial artistic success with his name in the Top 50 most collectable Australian Artist’s nationwide. He has also been a finalist in The Archibald Prize over a number of years. In the twenty-five years David has been exhibiting he has maintained a status amongst the top Australian collectable artists by art aficionados, public and private collectors from the world over.

Celebrity collectors of David’s work include Lily Allen, Toni Collette, Hugo Weaving, Kate Blanchet, Danni Minogue, Scott Hicks, David Wenham and Kate Ceberano to name a few.

“David Bromley’s work is so iconic it stops people in their tracks” says Sydney Gallery owner (TVH Gallery) and representative for David Bromley for his Newcastle Debut, Trevor Harvey. “When I told David we should get out and meet the people of Newcastle, he said " I’ve never shown in Newcastle before, I’d love to come and say hello”.
