Courtesy of Dymocks Garden City, best-selling author Chris Paolini will appear at Garden City Shopping Centre on Monday June 25 to meet fans and sign copies of the latest edition to his fantasy series, Inheritance.

Located in the Promotions Court, near Woolworths between 5:00pm to 6:30pm, this will be Chris’s first visit to Australian shores where he will be promoting the fourth and final installment in the epic saga.

With 25 million copies sold worldwide, Inheritance marks the final journey for fans since the first edition Eragon was published in 2001.

“This is both a thrilling and gratifying end to a wonderful journey that began more than a decade ago,” said Paolini. “I could have never imagined that the Inheritance cycle would become what it has, and I’m grateful to the fans for their continued support and enthusiasm.”

Inheritance was first released on our shores last year and was named Australia’s Biggest Book in 2011, by publisher Random House Australia.

Raised in Montana, Southern California, Chris was homeschooled by his parents and was often writing short stories and poems. It was this desert landscape of his childhood which inspired the mythical land of Alagaesia the backdrop for the Inheritance world.

“Paolini is a born storyteller and his imaginative absorption in the world he creates is infectious” - The Age.
