Cinemania Fundraiser: Screening of documentary The Girl Next Door and panel discussion on the Australian sex industry featuring author Kate Holden, adult performer/producer Liandra Dahl and a representative from RhED.

On Tuesday 24th July Cinemania presents its last event for this season, a screening of the documentary The Girl Next Door, followed by a panel discussion on the Australian sex industry. The Girl Next Door (99, Dir: Christina Fugate, 82 mins) is an intimate and humanizing account of Stacy Valentine's transformation from Oklahoma housewife into internationally successful porn star.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring author Kate Holden, adult performer/producer Liandra Dahl and a representative from Rhed (Resourcing Health & Education - for sex workers in Victoria, visit www.sexworker.org.au).

Doors open at 6:30pm, film screens at 7pm (get in early as seating is strictly limited). Entry is by donation. Cinemania is a non-profit organization and we are raising funds to produce a second season of exciting screening events.

Visit the Cinemania Facebook page or the RMIT Film Society website for more details.
