To celebrate three busy years of not doing much, Bedroom Suck Records are bringing the third of their series of annual Deadshits! festivals to the Judy to showcase the finest underachievers in Australian outsider music.

After the release of the now legendary debut from Scott and Charlene’s Wedding, lead man Craig Dermody disappeared overseas. He’s finally resurfaced, returning with a fresh swag o’ songs underarm and bringing his notoriously elusive supergroup (including members of Love of Diagrams, Beaches) to Brisbane for the very first time.

Supporting Scott and Charlene’s Wedding are Absolute Boys and Angel Eyes. To see Absolute Boys perform is as though observing a trio of craftsmen at work. These young men hunch over their instruments, intent on wringing any and every sound possible from what they've been given. Repetitive elements suddenly shift and you realise you are listening to the perfect pop song.

After appearing last year at Brisbane's Frankly Pop Festival, Angel Eyes, otherwise known as Andrew Cowie, has been itching for another chance to feel our warm tropical sun. A brilliant musical mind, he continues to mesmerise anyone within earshot of his compositions, and a chance to catch him performing within the confines of the Judy is not to be missed.

Deadshits! Three will also feature DJ sets from Blank Realm and Primitive Motion.
