See art come to life on the big screen this Festival at the majestic open air Deckchair Cinema.

On Thursday 23 August check out some engaging new contemporary Indigenous films from the National Film and Sound Archive's Black Screen program: Ralph (10 mins, Dir: Deborah Mailman) and Minnie Loves Junior (14 mins, Dirs: Andy and Matt Mullins) both weave delightful tales of young friendship and love, while award-winning Jandamarra's War (56 mins, Dir: Mitch Torres) tells the fascinating story of the powerful Bunuba warrior who waged a three year guerrilla war in WA in the 1890s against invading pastoralists, in defence of his people’s ancient land and culture.

Black Screen is an initiative of the NFSA providing access to Indigenous short films for community festivals and events nationally.
