Maroon 5 are rewarding eager fans by returning to Australia for a whirlwind tour with special guests Evermore and The Cab, taking in Sydney and Melbourne for two very special and exclusive shows.

Since their last Australian tour the three time Grammy Award winning band have seen their popularity grow to new heights with their latest #1 single ‘Payphone’ (featuring American rapper Wiz Khalifa) storming the airwaves and clubs. ‘Payphone’ is the lead single from Maroon 5’s highly anticipated fourth album Overexposed (out June 22 through Universal) which promises to be the band’s strongest yet.

Adam Levine’s schedule is looking extra crazy as he continues in his role as coach on America’s hugely successful The Voice alongside Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green. Aguilera and Maroon 5 are no strangers after their collaboration on the 2011 smash hit ‘Moves Like Jagger’ which topped charts in 18 countries across the globe and became one of the most paid downloaded songs in history.

Chart topping aside, ‘Moves Like Jagger’ saw the band nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and win the 2012 People’s Choice Award for Favourite Band.

Joining Maroon 5 for these two very special shows will be the Antipodean brothers, Evermore as well as a band guaranteed to get you up on and on your feet, The Cab.

Jon, Peter and Dann Hume, better known as Evermore, first came to the world’s attention with their striking track, ‘It’s Too Late’. Since then, the band have released hit singles like ‘Running’, ‘Light Surrounding You’ and ‘Never Let You Go’ and shared the stage with industry greats including Bob Evans, Split Enz and Pink. In October, they will add Maroon 5 to this prestigious list.

Opening the tour and putting the audience into party mode for the night will be Las Vegas three-piece, The Cab. The band has been making waves with tracks like ‘Bad’, ‘Bounce’ and ‘Once Of Those Nights’. Known for creating melodies so infectious that you’ll be singing them for days, The Cab are not to be missed.

Don’t miss your chance to catch Maroon 5 and their very special guests as they embark on two exclusive shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
