London's premiere post-dubstep duo Mount Kimbie are returning to Australia in May as part of the The Hi Fi Shoreline Series.

After a series of acclaimed EPs the duo dropped their 2010 debut album, Crooks & Lovers. A mixture of post-rock, garage beats and traditional songwriting, the record was a stunning cohesion of influences.

Live, Mount Kimbie take this further. Pushing each track to an ever-broader territory, the Brighton duo - made up of friends Dominic Maker and Kai Campos - have an expansive performance style which never lapses into self-indulgence

Mount Kimbie are arguably responsible for the term ‘post- dubstep’ and at the end of 2010, the critically acclaimed Crooks & Lovers was included in over thirty 'Best of 2010' lists, including NME, Mixmag, DJ Magazine, Resident Advisor, Pitchfork Media, Drowned In Sound, Roughtrade and Phonica Records. NME also listed them at number 22 in their 30 Artists For 2011.
