Ronald Thomas gave his debut recital at Wigmore Hall in 1961 after which the London Times commented that he was "destined to make a name for himself among the small company of distinguished violinists.” This prophecy has been realised during the past fifty years through his musical involvement, both as soloist and concertmaster of The English Chamber Orchestra; The Bourmouth Sinfonietta; The Academy of Saint Martin-in-the-Fields; The London Symphony Orchestra; The New London Soloists; The Soloists of Australia and his numerous recordings for Chandos Records including an international award winning recording of the Beethoven Violin Concerto.

Ronald returns to the recital platform at The Independent Music Centre with Polish pianist Gregory Kinda himself an accomplished musician with a repertoire spanning four centuries. Gregory injects vital energy into his performances and has specialised in the music of his homeland including contemporary Polish composers.

The recital of violin sonatas will include:

- J.S. Bach: Sonata No 2 for Violin and Harpsichord
- L. Van Beethoven: Sonata No 9 Op. 47 (“Kreutzer”)
- J. Brahms: Sonata No.3 in D minor Op. 108
