After seven Tony Awards and sell out seasons on Broadway and the West End, the Lincoln Center Theater’s stunning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific is finally coming to Melbourne.

Directed by Bartlett Sher, South Pacific swept the 2008 Tony Awards and played to sold-out houses for two and a half years, making it one of the Lincoln Center Theater’s most successful productions.

Starring Lisa McCune as Nellie, Teddy Tahu Rhodes as Emile, Eddie Perfect as Luther
Billis, Daniel Koek as Lieutenant Cable and Kate Ceberano as Bloody Mary.

A superb twenty five piece orchestra will play what is undoubtedly one of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most glorious scores, featuring magnificent numbers including: Some Enchanted Evening,I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair, Bali Ha’i and There is Nothin’ Like a Dame.
