Come and support two finalists in the Australasian Battle of the Bands Finals, playing together with support from local Sydney bands.

Heathen Eyes (New Zealand) - 2nd place winners, NZ finals.

From Auckland NZ, they formed in 2010. Since they formed they have completed two mini tours of NZ as well as touring with Melbourne Band 'The Eternal' on their tour of New Zealand. They have achieved extensive air play on The Rock, NZ's largest rock radio station, on The Axe Attack which is NZ's longest running metal radio show, as well as on student radio stations bFM and Kiwi FM. They also recently placed in the first global music awards for unsigned bands Bite My Music Awards. Heathen Eyes promise a performance full of energy and have their own unique sound with a blend of hard rock and metal w/ a mix of softer melodies and heavy screaming. They are a band that promises something for everyone!

They have free music available to download from both their Facebook and Reverbnation pages. Go and 'like' them and check them out for yourself and tell your friends!

Heathen Eyes are proudly sponsored by Infected Souls Clothing and supported by Monster Energy.

You can buy their merch at the link above (good time to get it Aussies while exchange rate's in your favour).

Still Waiting (Western Australia)

When you take a rhino, slap it, then make it trip on a banana peel. No, not really. But we'd like to think so...

Still Waiting formed mid-2010 when mates David Sullivan, Matthew Kerr and Brad Holder came together to perform at their own local event called 'Hedland Sunday Sessions'. Soon after this, a longtime friend of Kerr, Shaun Win, was recruited to play lead guitar and sing backing vocals. The band are currently in the studio recording their first demo, called Lovedrug, which is due for release on Christmas Day.

Still Waiting are their own blend of pop/punk.

They have free music available from their website.

Prevailing Disorder (Sydney)

History is important. If you don't know history it is as if you were born yesterday. And if you were born yesterday, anybody up there in a position of power can tell you anything, and you have no way of checking up on it. - Howard Zinn

"We’re dealing with real human beings now who are suffering and dying and being tortured and starving because of policies that we are involved in, we as citizens of democratic societies are directly involved in and are responsible for, and what the media are doing is ensuring that we do not act on our responsibilities, and that the interests of power are served, not the needs of the suffering people, and not even the needs of the American people who would be horrified if they realised the blood that’s dripping from their hands because of the way they are allowing themselves to be deluded and manipulated by the system." - Noam Chomsky

Last Man Standing:
Based in western Sydney, they are a hard heavy rock act and currently in the studio recording an album. Goal is world domination!

Prevailing Disorder are melodic/punk/hardcore/punk.

This show is proudly supported by ERK FM: Metal Monday where you can catch Heathen Eyes on 27th Feb.
