Settle back and be swept away by the sweet and sultry sounds of Tinpan Orange as they return to delight Festival audiences with music from latest album The Bottom Of The Lake.

After just one song from these fold posters we're sure you'll agree with music critics calling them an easy group to fall in love with. Six-foot frontwoman Emily Lubitz's silky vocals drip with old world romance in tunes that range from melancholy to magical. Imagine Edith Piaf in the body of Mrs Jessica Rabbit, wandering through a landscape of suburban fairy tales and electric static clouds. Then add guitarist Jesse Lubitz as he thumps up dust from the floor of the stage. The drums rumble in the hands of Danny Farrugia, the organ whirrs, the Cat Empire's Harry James Angus joins in on keyboards and up over the top of everything floats Alex Burkoy's achingly sad violin. It's a recipe for some incredibly beautiful and original music.
