YPBNE is proud to announce the first two of our panel speakers for our launch event on April 26. Introducing to you: Tom Potter, the founder of Eagle Boys Pizza and Adam Penberthy, a Generation Y entrepreneur and managing director of Brisbane-based creative agency FRESH. These men are exactly the type of peeople YPBNE is aiming to attract - ambitious, dedicated, hard-working and innovative young professionals who know what they want and take the risks to achieve it.

Tom Potter
Tom Potter left school at age 15; jobless at 23 he eventually borrowed the money to open his first pizza shop in Albury, New South Wales in 1987 and turned this into Australia and New Zealand’s largest privately owned pizza company. With minimal education and little money to support his venture, Tom is an entrepreneurial success who achieves his goals through radical change, innovation and unusual business and marketing tactics. Tom sold the Eagle Boys empire in 2007, with an annual turnover of over $110 million and has continued onto his latest venture in Crusty Devil Bakehouse.

Adam Penberthy
Adam Penberthy is the epitome of a Generation Y success story. Adam is a genius entrepreneur who started his first commercial business at just 13 and employed his first full time staff member to run the company while he studied at age 16. Adam is the head honcho at Brisbane-based creative marketing communications and advertising agency FRESH. His company aims to improve companies’ communications with their younger demographic. He has worked with clients such as the Queensland and Victorian government, Wellspring International, Wendy’s Australia, Schoolies.com and QUT.
