Are you looking for a way to become more active? Want to get outdoors? Well get out there and start walking. It's easy and just about anyone can do it.

You're just two feet away from some of the best places in South Australia.

Walking SA is celebrating the Opening of the Walking Season in conjunction with the Adelaide Bushwalkers and the Heart Foundation and thanks to Walking SA and Life Be In It you can come and join in.

Highlights of the day will be regular 30 or 60 min Come'n Try Walks through the picturesque Adelaide Parklands and Linear Park Trail, displays by local walking groups and outdoor stores, live entertainment and catering by local groups. There will also be pre-loved walking gear available for purchase at bargain prices courtesy of the Friends of the Heysen Trail.

Walking is an activity you can do at your own pace but if you're looking to extend your walking opportunities Walking SA can provide information on walking clubs that welcome new members. Many of them will have representatives there on the day, ready to answer all your questions.

Walking is a great way to be active and experience the outdoors so whether you're a seasoned walker or an absolute beginner come and join the celebration.
