Mindfulness is a path of training that can be learned and practised by anyone, no matter what their religious or cultural background.

The mindfulness skills we teach have been shown to be highly effective in reducing stress and enhancing well-being.

People taking courses like ours report that as a result of the course they:

Our Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Courses (MBSR) are taught over 8 weeks on 4 alternate Saturdays. Participants report that reducing the need for weekly journeys helps them make the best use of their time.

All our courses are led or supervised by Dean Wooding, who trained at the Centre of Mindfulness Research and Practice, School of Psychology, Bangor University, UK – an internationally recognised centre of excellence in mindfulness training.

Dean was for several years Director of a Buddhist Centre in London, and helped manage a retreat centre in New Zealand. He has more than 20 years personal meditation experience and has been teaching meditation and mindfulness courses for over a decade.
