The Australian Art Show comes to one of the most imaginative and expressive cities in Australia, providing an opportunity for like-minded art lovers to come together in a friendly, creative atmosphere.

While art fairs are predominantly aimed at buyers and artists, The Australian Art Show also caters for the uninitiated in the hope of creating a new wave of artists, collectors and art enthusiasts. The show offers FREE entry allowing it to foster real people’s interest in all facets of art; whether it’s appreciating a beautiful piece, taking a photograph or creating a masterpiece.

Take this chance to browse the exhibits of an eclectic range of artists, emerging and well-known, free of charge. If you’re after a statement piece of your own or just appreciate the artistry this will be a delight to the senses. The Australian Art Show gives artist’s young and old a chance to establish themselves in the art community and sell their work.

See art in action as the Australian Art Show team up with the Artist Hive, presenting artists of all ages creating live artworks at the show using chalk. Artists will be given the opportunity to showcase their talents to the public where you will witness a piece beginning created from start to finish.

If you’ve always wondered about the value of an old family heirloom, the Australian Art Show has the answer. Fine art experts David Hulme and Brigitte Banziger of Banziger Hulme Fine Art Consultants will be on hand to evaluate your art, including Australian and international paintings, watercolours, limited edition prints, sculpture and photography.

If you’re more hands-on, get stuck in at our Art Classes for a small fee. Try products, learn techniques and get advice from expert artists including Mellissa Read-Devine and Paul McCartney. For aspiring photographers, hone your skills at our photographic workshops.

Join us for the exclusive Preview Evening on Friday to get a first look at the artworks and first choice of sales. This is a great chance to socialise with the artists and hear the stories behind the art before anyone else.
