STORMS FORCE SHIFTING SANDS FOR BEACH DAY OUT!
Boutique music festival Beach Day Out has succumbed to the stormy weather forecasts and announced a shift to their November 30 event.
The one day music festival at Sandstorm Beach Club, will now play out across TWO nights at the 'Oh Hello' venue in Fortitude Valley.
The completely Brisbane based lineup will still be playing for their fans across the weekend.
Friday 29th November will play host to an Indie flavour with Major Leagues cranking out their new tracks from 'Weird Season' supported by Tourism and Palindromes who have also just had new music added to Triple J unearthed.
Saturday night, crowd favourites YesYou will pump out their electro pop set with support acts Noah Slee and reggae hip hop funksters The Basement Shuffle taking to stage at Oh Hello from 7pm.
Festival organiser Demelza McCloud said the decision to make the change was made out of concern for audience safety.
"All along the concept for Beach Day Out has been about ensuring people can enjoy a great line up of local artists with a chilled vibe." she said.
"The new format will see two excellent nights at a great venue that Brisbane party goers love to attend, Oh Hello."
The bands will be on stage from 7pm and tickets will be available at the door and online for $20 per show.
Existing ticket holders will be able to use their Beach Day Out tickets for entry across both nights.
Any persons seeking a refund can get in touch with event organisers through the Beach Day Out website or Facebook page.
