Black Sun Empire, one of the biggest acts in the history of DnB touring their new album, From The Shadows is their 5th LP since the early 2000's and it has received impressive reviews from around the globe featuring collaborations with heavyweights such as Noisia, Foreign Beggars, Audio, State Of Mind and more.

Black Sun Empire represent the finest in dark and tech fuelled dance-floor drum and bass. Since bursting onto the scene back in 2000, they've continued to develop their own unique style and sound, releasing numerous singles as well as four full length LPs and establishing themselves as leaders in the field.

With their impressive DJ skills and inspirational productions, Black Sun Empire have reached far beyond their native Holland. They've toured the world over, with highlights this year including Glastonbury and numerous other festival appearances, and continue to build on their growing reputation as some of the most exciting and consistent performers around.

Light and Wires was their fourth full length album, released in November 2010 and demonstrates their versatility across tempos whilst still staying true to their own sound.

Black Sun Empire released their new album, From The Shadows on their own label BSE Recordings in September 2012 to widespread acclaim. The album also topped the Beatport Drum and Bass charts in the week of its release.

With From The Shadows, Black Sun Empire have managed to perfectly capture much of the classic flavour of their early productions and to perfectly combine this with contemporary production skills. The result is an album of largely hard hitting dance-floor friendly tracks, cut out against their familiar futuristic sci-fi backdrop, with the occasional step into more interesting territory. Some of the collaborations have yielded genuinely special results, each of the track have been released with the typically top of the line production powers we've come to expect from a veteran trio of this calibre.
