Dorian Mode is a multi-award winning musician and writer of laugh-out-loud books: A Cafe in Venice and Mozart Maulers, which have been bestsellers here and in Europe. These careers remained separate until Dorian recently competed a doctorate (APA scholarship winner) on Bogans.

Armed with this unique insight into bogan culture, his musical and literary talents combine in a hilarious new show, Boganville: an exploration of all things ‘bogan’ told through surreal yarns and song.

He was a guest speaker at the Sydney Writer’s Festival and read an abridged version of his latest novel on ABC’s Radio National (twice). His first novel was also released internationally as an audio book.

“There are not many writers around who can make a reader laugh out loud. But Dorian Mode is one. One of Australia’s bright literary stars.” - Weekend Gold Coast Bulletin
