The biggest family-friendly rockabilly day, BrizVegas Kustom Karnival, is rolling into town again for another action-packed event with international rockabilly rockers and 80 of the most impressive chromed up hot rods.

It’s all happening Sunday March 10 where punters can expect a quirky Kustom Art Display, hairstylists, photographers, a sprawling indoor market village and the engaging Kitten Katwalk Pinup Parade where members of the audience can showcase their glamorous, pin-up outfits.

Event organiser Lori Lee Cash of Robot Productions said the BrizVegas Kustom Karnival has the perfect family-friendly atmosphere for anyone looking for a great day out.

“The Karnival spectacular is for anyone who wants to have a cool place to hang out while listening to a rockabilly beat and viewing the gorgeous hot rods and much more,” she said.

This year visitors can expect an outstanding live show from Grammy Award nominees, Los Straitjackets, the world’s most famous guitar instrumental band from the USA on their first ever tour of Australia.

Los Straitjackets have appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien half a dozen times and have had their music on TV shows, movies and commercials.

Holland natives CC Jerome’s Jetsetters are also ready to tear the house down with a triple shot of rockabilly, rock’n’roll and rhythm blues that have been electrifying audiences in the international scene for over 20 years, playing and supporting artists such as Lee Rocker and Levi Dexter.

Australian acts Pat Capocci Combo, Men Into Space, The Lincolns and DJ Leapin’ Lawrie will join the Los Straitjackets and CC Jerome’s Jetsetters on stage to get the floor pumped for all those who are ready to rock’n’roll.

Mrs Cash said this year BrizVegas Kustom Karnival will be bigger and better than ever, exposing some incredible talent and exciting stalls.

“Punters will not be disappointed with one of the hottest events on the Kustom calendar, offering an array of exciting activities that will entertain people of all ages,

“There is no need to worry about unpredictable weather as the event will once again embrace the breezy indoor Acacia Ridge Hotel environment, so the party will continue rain, hail or shine,

“Last year the event saw a massive turn out and this year is expected to be bigger and better and is one you don’t want to miss out on.”

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door with entry free for kids under 15 and are available in advance from www.kustomkarnival.com.au
