The biggest family-friendly rockabilly day, BrizVegas Kustom Karnival is rolling into town again for another action-packed event with international rockabilly rockers and dozens of the most impressive chromed up hot rods.

Colourful pinup fashion, rockabilly beats and revving engines will be the tell-tale signs that BrizVegas Kustom Karnival has arrived into town next month, bringing the cool rockabilly scene to Acacia Ridge Hotel.

Visitors can expect an exceptional live show from Marti Brom of Austin, Texas who is well-known on the rockabilly scene and has headlined major international rockabilly festivals and events from Viva Las Vegas in USA to Hemsby in the UK.

Roy Kay Trio from Seattle will also take to the stage, with their distinctive style of traditional rockabilly, hillbilly bop and early country beats which have toured the globe including Germany, Spain, Sweden, England and the Netherlands.
Australian acts Dan and The Dualtones, The Hi-Boys, The Zephyr Project and DJ Leapin’ Lawrie will complement Marti Brom and Roy Kay Trio on stage to get the floor pumped for all those who are ready to rock ‘n’ roll.

The Kitten Katwalk Pinup Parade will also take place throughout the day, inviting visitors to engage in fashion fever by strutting their glamorous vintage, retro or custom creations for the parade.

For the first time in BrizVegas Kustom Karnival history, the parade is also calling on advance entries from pinup fashion lovers throughout Queensland to supply a photo of them in their best pinup look to enter the Mz Kustom Kitten contest.

Entrants will be voted on via Facebook and then participate in the Kitten Katwalk Pinup Parade. The lucky winner will be crowned Mz Kustom Kitten and will win a pinup photography session including hair, make-up and styling.
