Casuarina Square will celebrate turning 40 this week, with centre-wide activities planned to mark the big day on Thursday, 23rd May.

Festivities will include a centre-wide birthday sale, entertainment and giveaways, a Territory FM radio broadcast from the centre and cutting of a 40th birthday cake!

The local community is invited to have their photo taken at the centre on Thursday, as part of a 40th Birthday community photo mosaic, to be installed in the centre to mark the occasion.

A historical photo display will commemorate the centre’s role in the community over the last 40 years, including images of when the centre was significantly damaged by Cyclone Tracy in 1974.
