Perth's heritage-listed gothic St George's Cathedral is transformed into a candle-lit cabaret lounge, for one night only- the night before Lent begins. 12 February is Shrove Tuesday (also called Mardi Gras, Carnivale). With the concert grand piano in the centre of the candle-lit space, Fringe artists - pianists, singers, and instrumentalist - bring the space to life as a sultry subdued louche lounge of lingering melodies and music for all tastes, from the Middle Ages, through the Jazz Age, to the 21st century. With a licensed wine-bar and a food-bar offering share tapas plates, settle down at a table with some friends and enjoy a unique evening of music and entertainment in a unique and beautiful space.

From 7pm to about 10pm savior a taste of artists yet to perform in the Fringe Festival or hear again those whose shows you have already enjoyed.
