Unique Tibetan artwork, including paintings and silk embroidery from close to 20 different artists will be displayed in Australia for the first time, as part of an exhibition from the Cultural and Art Institute of the Tibet Autonomous Region.

Held at The Concourse in Chatswood on Sydney’s North Shore, the exhibition features beautiful sceneries and imagery of the Tibetan lifestyle aimed at provoking deep thought on the relationship between humans, life, nature and the universe.

Artists include well-known domestic painters, calligraphers and old artists living in Tibet. Many of the artists have lived in the region all of their lives, while others have found their inspiration while visiting. Many of the artists will also tour with the exhibition.
