“Luke Escombe is a rock-soul singer, raconteur, blistering blues guitarist, comedian and songwriter, and is very good at them all... highly recommended” John Shand, Sydney Morning Herald.

Luke returns to The Newsagency, supported by Tully, on the eve of his annual trip to the Adelaide Fringe. A unique singer-songwriter who is equally at home playing sweaty blues shacks and rock dives as he is performing comedy songs at the Edinburgh Fringe, or bringing a room full of politicians to tears at Parliament House, he never ceases to fascinate and surprise. Presenting a new show called “Chronical”, performed on a beautiful electric guitar played through a vintage amp, expect blues-soaked narratives with a hip-hop twist, snake-hipped grooves, hot guitar chops and lyrical gems all delivered in Luke’s distinctive baritone, voted “Sydney’s Sexiest Man Voice” on Mix 106.5FM.
