This March, Perth’s most majestic venue will welcome a sensational selection of stand-up comedians for an exclusive and intimate night of laughs. Downstairs at the Maj will host this new comedy concept for a strictly limited four week season, every Friday night between March 1 and March 22.

Each Friday night three different comedians have been handpicked from around the country and the world to take on the up-close and personal cabaret lounge and prove to Perth comedy can be as first class as the iconic setting. Candle-lit cabaret style seating with sips and nibbles on hand will provide an undoubtedly hilarious way to unwind after a long week at work.

Friday March 1 will see Shock Jock and Secret Life of Us star, the magnificent Matt Dyktynski, Big Bite and Last Comic Standing favourite Cameron Knight and who Tim Ferguson calls “the next giant thing” in musical comedy, Suns of Fred take to the stage.

The following Friday night popular American comic Mike G joins local comedy diva Andrea Gibbs and ex-Triple J DJ and star of Rove and Rove Live the brilliant Dave Callan.

Just For Laughs and GNW performer Daniel Townes hits the mic Friday 15th with the fresh-faced Melbourne International Comedy Road show alumnus Joel Creasey and the captivatingly wicked and wise Sean Choolburra.

Finishing off the month with a bang will be acclaimed Scottish comic Vladimir McTavish, the cleverly observant musical comedy stylings of Andrew Horabin with one more first class stand-up comedian still to be announced.
