Dads ‘n’ Daughters weekend - its not about girlie stuff!

Pack up the Barbie and the heels, ditch the texting, put away the make-up and lip gloss, escape the brothers and pack the overnight bag with some warm but cool clothes! It’s time to spend special time with your dad or granddad - and get back to nature!

Learn about caring for injured wildlife, try your hand at cooking damper, meet the Little Penguins and much more at the Phillip Island Nature Parks during this fun weekend created especially for dads, daughters, grandfathers, granddaughters and the like!

The weekend, on April 20 and 21st, offers some one-on-one time, without all the normal distractions a young lady has! Not to mention the distractions of brothers and mums!

The Dads ‘n’ Daughters weekend is filled with memorable and fun activities:
- Camping on Churchill Island Heritage Farm – sleep in tents under the stars, have a campfire (with marshmallows!)
- Cook damper from scratch – plus enjoy a BBQ dinner and a big breakfast the next morning
- Interactive ranger programs
- Learn about the very special wildlife research undertaken by the researchers – its world class!
- Find out everything about the Nature Parks, and the environmental and conservation work
- ‘Hands on’ farming activities at Churchill Island Heritage Farm–sheep shearing, blacksmithing, cow milking and working dog demonstrations
- Learn whip cracking and boomerang throwing
- Visit the Koala Conservation Centre, with its tree-top boardwalks

Phillip Island Nature Parks is a not-for-profit organization, so all proceeds from the Dads ‘n Daughters weekend will go towards the Nature Parks’ research, environment, education and conservation projects to protect the Island’s fauna and flora for generations to come.
