Meet the women who knew Mr Edgar Allan Poe best in a saucy, hilarious and ‘revealing’ show, as they lift their skirts on the scandals, romances and intimate details of a literary legend.

“For the most wild, yet most homely narrative which I am about to pen, I neither expect nor solicit belief. Mad indeed would I be to expect it, in a case where my very senses reject their own evidence. Yet, mad am I not — and very surely do I not dream!”- Edgar Allan Poe

He is regarded as one of the greatest writers of all time…but who was he?…and who knew him best?

Allow The Poe Burlesque Theatre in their premier performance of Edgar’s Girls to take you on a saucy, hilarious and debaucherous journey into the world of Mr Edgar Allan Poe. Meet the stunning beauties who inspired his work, and the women from his tales that he created with such breathtaking mastery; his dearly devoted wife who died too young; the divine Lady Madeline from his incredibly chilling tale The Fall of the House of Usher.

The Poe Burlesque Theatre is a unique company of actors and performers who merge song, burlesque and abstract performance art to bring to life his macabre, morbid, quirky and often comical tales.
