Come roving, experience a dynamic relationship with the natural environment, surfaces, images and objects, reflecting the soul

Throughout November, Eramboo Artist Environment and Gallery is engaging eleven acclaimed artists from Pittwater, Warringah and Manly to participate in a Summer Series of performances, exhibits, artist talks and ephemeral experiences.

The Summer Series consists of four distinct curated events:

Friday 1 November – Sunday10 November
The Shape of Air, Installations in bushland by Suzanne Davey and Ainslie Murray who explore the characteristics of air and immaterial space in the natural landscape, the dissolution of architecture and our dynamic relationship with the landscape.

Friday 15 November – Sunday 24 November
Origins - Source and Lineage, an exhibition by Eramboo artists Eva Frengstad, Sally Howe and Bridget Armstrong who look at our origins to find expression and influence in our creative processes. They explore both our conscious and subconscious intentions and inform and direct our creative process.

Sunday 24 November
INsites by internationally acclaimed performance artists Imogen Cranna, Cloé Fournier and Raghav Handa. Come roving to find intimate moments of dance performance.

Friday 29 November – Sunday 8 December
Psiche by Lisa Marshall, Michelle Perrett and Christina Frank. The works reflecting the soul: ceramic mirrors from Renaissance paintings, meditative images caught on iphone, objects and vessels in ‘curiosity cabinets’.

Eramboo is located in a beautiful and unique bushland setting in Terrey Hills in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Here artists are mentored by artistic directors Susan Milne and Greg Stonehouse, two of Australia's most prominent public artists, to create, learn and develop a robust professional practice. “The bush is an edge. An uncontrolled wilderness. At the edge of the bush is Eramboo, a little shed in and around which art is made. While Australian sounds assault, artists escape from a manufactured world. In this space, originality be rediscovered.” Susan Milne, Artistic Co-Director
