The glamorous story of Australian fashion photography is revealed in Flashback: 160 years of Australian Fashion Photos, a new travelling display opening at East Maitland Library from 22 November to 5 December 2013.

Using colourful reproductions, Flashback showcases a number of beautiful and iconic images from the State Library's unrivalled collection, ranging from mid 19th century hand-coloured portraiture through to contemporary fashion shots.

Meet the State Library fashion expert and curator of the Flashback travelling exhibition, Margot Riley, at a delicious High Tea on Wednesday 27 November, 2.00 pm, where she will reveal the story behind the iconic images.

This is a free event. Booking prior to event is essential and may be made by phoning 02 4933 6952 or in person at any Maitland City Library branch.
