Ah, we're rollin' out the 'ol Swillfest celebrations again! After kicking off with our pick of Sydney's finest heavy hitters in August and venturing into the greased out world of rockabilly in September, October's theme felt damn near necessary. BLUES ROCK.
The mother of creation. A hermaphroditic music monster. The mother and father of rock and roll rolled into one. From heartbreak to elation, the Blues is a genre by which one can exorcise all manner of emotion. All souls unite from queers to cromags and everyone in between, if you got a heartbeat, you got the Blues.

With all that in mind, we're serving up a soulful blend of hard hittin' blues rock bands from all over Australia. Uniting in Sydney, October 27, especially to celebrate the power and beauty of the big bad blues. Good God that's great Goddamn reason to party!
