The South West Rail and Heritage Centre is joining in the birthday celebrations of the Boyanup and Districts Farmers Market with a special “From Paddock to Plate” Open Day on Sunday, November 24.

On this day some of the amazing vintage agricultural machinery that helped to feed West Australians will be on show, including a mechanical cow and some lovingly restored tractors, ploughs and harvesters amongst others.

Acknowledging the dairy and fruit growing industries will be some of the equipment used in the early days.

In addition all of the railway rolling stock, including the iconic Leschenault Lady, will be on view for all to see.

All are welcome to come along to the South West Rail and Heritage Centre at Turner St, Boyanup from 10:00am to 2:00pm and relive the days when primary produce was king!
